Bio: Kevin seeks to bridge the understanding of device level thermodynamic behavior and atomic scale phenomena of complex ferroelectric (FE) heterostructures possessing novel and complex structural phase transitions.
Current Research: tailoring the superparaelectric limit in embedded relaxor FE nanoparticles, engineering of novel FE domain formation in layered thin films and the study of functional complex oxides using first and second principles simulation methods such as density functional theory and finite element LGD modeling
